Puglia Boat Show: A Record-Breaking Edition Announced

Approximately 180 exhibitors, featuring over 300 boats displayed across 20,000 square meters of exhibition space and along the docks of the Marina di Brindisi marina, will participate in the 22nd edition of SNIM, the Puglia Boat Show, taking place in Brindisi from October 22 to 26.

The event was presented at the headquarters of the Puglia Regional Government. Among the new highlights of the 2026 edition is the first Forum of Southern Italian Nautical Enterprises, scheduled for October 23. The discussion will gather companies from Puglia, Campania, Calabria, Basilicata, and Sicily alongside Confindustria Nautica.

“We must not view this event as an arrival point, but rather as a milestone in a continuous journey to support the nautical sector year-round. It can also expand into other Pugliese territories, always following an hub-and-spoke model where Brindisi acts as the central reference hub,” stated the President of the Puglia Region, Antonio Decaro. He recalled that “boating is an important and strategic supply chain for the Pugliese economy. Data shows that Southern Italy generates 34.2% of the national direct added value in this sector—equivalent to roughly 27 billion euros—with significant employment benefits. In this context, Puglia, with its 900 kilometers of coastline and 69 port infrastructures, stands out as a leading region that can make a real difference in business development and stimulate the creation of related supply chains.”

“Our goal,” declared the President of the Puglia Boat Show, Giuseppe Meo, “is to establish Brindisi, Puglia, and Southern Italy as a strategic boating platform in the Mediterranean, highlighting local expertise and connecting it with major national and international players. This is the challenge of SNIM: transforming the extraordinary resource of the sea into a concrete growth project for Southern Italy, and above all, for the Puglia Region.”
