Four Days Dedicated to Seacily Boat Show

Four days dedicated to boating, innovation, and development opportunities within the “Blue Economy,” focusing on the maritime economy’s impact on employment, businesses, and added value to the local economy. The event also spotlights nautical tourism, port infrastructure, industry-related facilities, innovation, and scientific research on renewable energy serving the fishing industry.

Running through November 1, the port of Castellammare del Golfo is hosting the 9th edition of the Seacily Boat Show: meetings, debates, and discussions between institutions and representatives of businesses from the most relevant sectors of the blue economy. The event brings together companies, professionals, and sea enthusiasts, offering a dedicated space to connect and discuss industry perspectives through boat displays, new technologies, services, and hands-on experiences.

Featuring over 60 exhibitors, more than 100 represented brands, and over 60 boats on land and in the water available for trial runs: organized by Rete Nautica del Mediterraneo, chaired by Ignazio Artese, Seacily confirms its role as a key platform for showcasing the nautical supply chain and regional excellence. It fosters new synergies and growth opportunities for the maritime economy, acting as a regional reference point for the nautical world while opening up to a national audience by combining research, innovation, and sustainability.

“Assonautica Palermo, an expression of the chamber of commerce system,” says Andrea Ciulla, President of Assonautica Palermo and Vice President of Assonautica Italiana, “has always been committed to developing the nautical sector and the broader blue economy. To highlight just one of many data points to be presented, this sector reports a economic multiplier of two in Sicily, higher than the national average: in other words, every euro of added value produced generates an additional two euros of activated added value. The Seacily boat show, a proprietary format of Assonautica Palermo,” Ciulla continues, “expresses the concept of system networking that underpins Assonautica’s specific mission to drive project implementation and development prospects for the sector.”

“For the fourth consecutive year, Rete Nautica del Mediterraneo is organizing Seacily, an event that now represents a fundamental benchmark for boating, not only in Sicily,” emphasizes Ignazio Artese, President of Rete Nautica del Mediterraneo. “The ninth edition recorded a 30% increase in exhibitors, reflecting a consolidated growth trend across recent editions that confirms the event’s growing importance over the years.”
